Optional Payment Charge
More and more airlines introduce an Optional Payment Charge (OPC) for tickets issued through all sales channels. This charge must be paid when the ticket is paid for by credit card. The amount of payment depends on the final destination and will be charged for all tickets issued from the airlines listed in the document below. The fee is part of the total price and will be added to the ticket price including taxes and fees. The Optional Payment Charge is the result of continued increasing costs that airlines pay to the credit card companies for each transaction.
