Air France – making the sky the best place on earth
Air France was formed in 1933 and has since been marked by dynamic development and growth. Its fleet of 568 aircraft provide a total of 1,300 daily flights. Air France operates up to 54 daily flights from Germany, connecting ten airports to its hub at Paris-Charles de Gaulle. From here, passengers can transfer to over 180 destinations in 83 countries around the globe.
Each of the 3 cabin classes offers maximum comfort à la française both on the ground and in the air.
L’Espace Première (First Class) – luxury in an elegant ambience. You will travel in a separate section in the front of the cabin. Four to eight seats, positioned at an angle, create a true bubble of personal space and privacy. Each seat transforms into a bed of 2 m with a real mattress, duvet and pillow. The seats also feature an adjustable lumbar support, a massage function and a tray for personal belongings. During the flight, you will be pampered with culinary delights à la carte, the finest wines, and the latest technology to help you work or relax.
L’Espace Affaires (Business Class) – pure relaxation. Whether you want to relax on board or work undisturbed: travelling in l’Espace Affaires provides the highest level of comfort. The hard shell of your seat will give you privacy at all times. As a bed-seat equipped with the latest lie-flat technology, it can be reclined to 180° to ensure maximum relaxation and increased sleeping comfort. The integrated massage function and the freely adjustable head and lumbar supports will further enhance your sense of well-being.
Tempo (Economy Class) – top service at attractive prices. Air France provides maximum comfort for all its customers. This is why Tempo is also fitted with new, wider seats. Provided with head and foot rests, the seats can now be reclined even further without restricting the personal space of passengers around you. The latest technology and more leg space make it possible. By May 2007, all long-haul Tempo seats will also feature video-on-demand. As in l’Espace Première and l’Espace Affaires, you will then be able to choose from twelve movies, some even in German.
Air France lounges – where waiting takes on a new, relaxed dimension. Comfortable equipment and the latest technology provide the ideal place to relax and work. A personal attendant, comfortable seats, a large selection of snacks and drinks, and many other useful services will ensure your well-being and a pleasant atmosphere. Our lounges are available to all passengers of First and Business Class and to Flying Blue members with Gold and Platinum status.

E-services from Air France make flying easier
Air France makes travelling easier by providing access to a range of e-services. Whether electronic ticketing, online check-in, or using the Self-Service Kiosks to check-in with or without baggage at the airport – these e-services will help you save valuable time.
Your CWT Travel Agency will be happy to provide you with an electronic ticket for any number of transfers in the Air France network. An e-ticket has the advantage of eliminating the risk of losing or stealing the ticket. You will receive a trip summary by e-mail or fax which includes all the necessary information about your trip. Modifications and cancellations also become much easier with an electronic ticket.
Are you flying with Air France from Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hanover, Munich or Stuttgart? Then why not avoid queuing at the check-in counters and use our Self-Service Kiosks to check-in.
Even easier, however, is the Air France online check-in option from the convenience of your own home or office. This service is already available for flights from all German airports served by Air France, and to almost all destinations in the network, with only a few exceptions. You can use it between 30 hours before your flight and 30 minutes before check-in closes. This also applies to transfer and return flights on the same day. All you need is your electronic ticket and a PC with Internet connection. To identify yourself, simply enter your e-ticket number and your flight number. Alternatively, if this is not available, you can enter your booking code (reference number). Both details are found in your trip summary. Once you have selected your seats on all flights, including transfers or return flights on the same day, print out your boarding pass on a DIN A4 sheet. If you travel with hand luggage only, you can go directly to the boarding gate at the airport – for flights within Europe, no later than 20 minutes prior to departure, for long-haul destinations, up to 45 minutes prior to departure. If you have baggage to check in, go to the Air France e-services counter in the check-in area of your airport before the check-in deadline for your flight (30 minutes within Europe, or 60 minutes for long-haul destinations).
